Josh Bean, a Hinsdale Central graduate, has five rushing touchdowns as the short-yardage quarterback for the Columbia football team (@ColumbiaLionsFB).

In four games, Bean has 14 rushing attempts for 15 yards and a team-best five scores. He rushed for 14 touchdowns and passed for 20 in high school.

Bean's best performance came in a 34-31 overtime win against Penn, in which he scored twice on fourth-and-goal. Columbia improved to 5-0 after that game.

Joining Bean on the roster are junior linebacker Cal Falkenhayn (Loyola @LAFootballAC), junior offensive lineman Pete Szymanski (Maine South) and junior linebacker Jason Vravick (Stevenson @SHSpatFB).
