Red Devils aim for special year on football field

The Red Devils have started their 2019 football season red hot. After upsetting a highly ranked Naperville Central team, and comfortably winning their three other games, they are 4-0 through the first four weeks of the season, and looking to make a run deep into this season’s IHSA playoffs.
 
Currently, the four wins include a 14-6 upset win over Naperville Central, 48-10 over Morton, 27-7 over Hinsdale South, and 22-15 over Oak Park River Forest. The Red Devils have five games remaining, including their rivalry showdown against Lyons Township on Friday, Oct. 25.
 
“I truly do believe this team can make a good run in the playoffs; we have the leadership and the talent to do something special this season,” said Michael Brescia, starting varsity quarterback.
