Hinsdale Central holds off OPRF to cap undefeated regular season

There was no way Hinsdale Central senior quarterback Josh Bean was going to start celebrating early with the undisputed West Suburban Silver championship on the line against Oak Park-River Forest on Friday.

Even though the Red Devils had taken a two-score lead late in the fourth quarter, it was not until the final buzzer went off that the reality set in.

Hinsdale Central answered both of the Huskies' fourth quarter scores and claimed a 21-12 victory in Hinsdale. The victory gave the Red Devils (9-0, 6-0) their first undefeated regular season and conference championship since 2004.
