HINSDALE - When Hinsdale Central needed big plays, Juwan Edmond provided them Friday night.

The Red Devils' running back went off for 275 yards on 18 carries and had three touchdowns in Central's 41-21 victory against visiting York.

"I got to give props to my offensive line," Edmond said. "They opened up some holes today. Coach Hartman was on them all week about opening up holes."

York (2-1, 0-1 WSS) took the lead on the first play from scrimmage on an 80-yard run from Morgan Alexander. Edmond's first touchdown, a 21-yard run with 7:26 left in the second quarter, gave the Red Devils their first lead of the game at 10-7.
